Support for Reactive Dogs
Helping you and your dog navigate the world with confidence and calm.
I now offer a specialised support package for dogs who struggle with reactivity — whether that’s barking and lunging at other dogs, reacting to people, or difficulties coping with the world around them.
This service is a little different to my standard one-to-one training; reactive behaviour is complex and often emotionally driven, so it needs a carefully structured and responsive plan.
Step One: Initial Consultation
Our work together begins with a 90-minute initial consultation. This session allows me to get a full picture of your dog’s behaviour, environment, history, and any previous training. We’ll look at what triggers your dog’s reactions, what helps or hinders them, and start to lay the foundations for change. You’ll receive clear management advice to help reduce stress for both you and your dog straight away, and I’ll explain the approach we’ll take going forward if you wish to continue working with me.
Cost: £60
Please note: This is a standalone session and is priced to reflect the depth of assessment and planning involved.
Step Two: Ongoing Support Package
Following the initial consultation, you’ll have the option to book a package of five one-hour training sessions, to be used at your own pace. These sessions are tailored to your dog and designed to build skills gradually.
Package of 5 Sessions: £160
(Sessions must be used within 6 months of purchase.)
This flexible model allows us to work gradually and responsively, supporting both you and your dog every step of the way, while being able to book the pre-paid sessions as needed to suit your schedule and your dog’s progress.
If after the initial consultation you decide not to book the 5 package deal, you are still welcome to book 1-2-1 sessions as needed at my usual fee of £35 per session.
All training is ethical, reward-based, and tailored to your dog’s individual needs.
The aim is not just to reduce reactive behaviours, but to improve your dog’s emotional wellbeing, help them feel safer in the world, and just as importantly, to support you as their guardian throughout.
