How I train & why I train that way;
I teach & train using scientifically backed, ethical, positive reinforcement based methods.
This way of teaching has been proven in scientific studies to be a very effective way of training. It’s been shown that animals trained using positive reinforcement are less likely to exhibit fear and aggression, are better at learning new skills and are more interactive with their owners.
I firmly believe that the welfare of the dog should be at the heart of any training plan and that their physical and emotional needs must be taken into account. It's equally important to me that the dog’s guardian feels properly supported. It can be overwhelming bringing up a puppy or training an older dog. I am here to support you, the human in the relationship, as well, and aim to deliver the best and clearest training that I can, to help you and your dog grow together and develop a great bond.
I will never use tools designed to be aversive such as prong, spray or e-collars. Dogs will not be physically manipulated into positions, deliberately frightened, smacked or shouted at.
